ABOUT US
It is our hope to bring our own experience working in Churches, religious communities, and various ministries to this online store and the various ministries tied to it, and to provide the Christian community, locally and anywhere folks can find our website, with the books and items that will help each one grow in Charity, the Lord's great commandment. We are members of an Old Catholic Celtic Rite Church: The Celtic Christian Church. This is a sacramental catholic Church. We own no properties. We worship in each other's homes in small cell groups, celebrating Eucharist and the sacramental life of the Church. We are Catholic in that our Old Catholic bishops have valid Catholic apostolic succession, and we profess the ancient creeds of the historic Church. Although other Church bodies don't normally make this distinction, we want to be clear about this: we are different than Roman Catholic in that we, along with all the other Old Catholic and Independent Catholic communities are not in union with the Roman See. We have begun this shop as a ministry, hoping to serve the various Christian communities, as mentioned above. The store is ecumenical in focus. When we opened in May, 2006, and our first inventory was from the shop, Calling All Angels which was in Stroudsburg. Customers from Calling All Angels have recognized the beautiful items that were carried there when they came to our brick and mortar shop in East Stroudsburg, PA. That shop is now closed and we are only selling online here, as well as through Amazon and E-Bay.
