Our family currently has 14 pets of various kinds, a few dogs, cats, birds... Over the years we have had many others, including goats, hamsters, and rabbits who have passed over the bridge. We understand the terrible sorrow felt at the loss of a beloved pet. God shares love with us in so many ways, and for many of us our pets are a manifestation of that.

Along with our section on the Spirituality of Animal Care, we have a Pet Memorial section with books, cards, and memorials, including urns, garden stones and statues such as those seen on this page. If out of stock we will order what you need.

Loss of Companion Animals Grief Support

We host a grief support for children who have suffered the loss of a pet, and for adults who may want the support of peers who truly understand.

Let those who think I have no soul

Look into my eyes.

Or let them look upon my foal

And find, to their surprise,

The God Who is creation's goal.

Do not believe the lies!

That, within me, born of Love,

That -- never, never dies!

Creator of all living things

That Self.,Who is but Love,

Does not destroy what such Love brings.

That Spirit, Who came as a Dove,

To my soul also clings,

That it might soar to God above

When to me, death time brings.

I too, am called by Love.

Don't make God in your image,

to fit your meager thought.

For God's without the limits,

that human minds have wrought.

Love begets eternal life

In all that Love has brought

To life on Earth, or far beyond.

If not, then all is naught.

I am but a thought away,

With my Creator too,

And I will meet you on that day

The Spirit calls to you.

Ignore the ones who to you say

What you should think or do

But, bow your head and simply pray

And know, I praise God too.

Creation is a gift you see

I could not understand

or speak as humans spoke to me,

But now God's loving hand

Has gently stroked and given me

The run of Promise Land

Where those who are like me

Find heaven's just so grand.

Heaven's where God is, my friend.

God was with you too...

So heaven started for me there

When I lived with you.

Let your heart open up

to thoughts that may seem new --

I am but a thought away,

God's Love makes all things new
